This dietetic dog food provides your four-legged friend with hydrolyzed proteins as a selected protein source, which means it has a low allergenic potential. Food intolerances or allergies can be associated with dermatological problems such as skin irritation and dandruff. Royal Canin Veterinary Canine Hypoallergenic is specially formulated to support your dog’s natural skin barrier. Veterinarian Dr. Conny Kolo on Royal Canin Hypoallergenic dry food:
“As a veterinarian with numerous patients suffering from food allergies or intolerances, I consider Royal Canin Hypoallergenic food to be a very good feeding option for them.
The hydrolyzed proteins contained in the food, which have been broken down into small molecules through a process, help significantly reduce the risk of allergic reactions. This formulation makes it particularly suitable for dogs whose food intolerance is not yet fully understood or who are known to be sensitive to certain protein sources.
Another advantage of Royal Canin Hypoallergenic for me is its careful composition, which aims to provide additional support for normal skin and gastrointestinal function. The balanced recipe also helps stabilize the intestinal flora and support digestion, which is especially important for sensitive animals.
The scientifically sound development of this product gives me, as a veterinarian, the confidence that I can offer my patients a safe and effective solution to their nutritional problems.”
