This is also the time when the number of antibodies your puppy received through their mother’s milk dwindles. This means they need optimal protein to build their own immune system . Nutrients such as vitamins C and E provide the best possible support for their body’s defenses. Very large breed dogs also have sensitive digestive systems . A combination of prebiotics (such as FOS, MOS, and beet pulp) and highly digestible proteins can promote normal digestive function.
